RCSID continued its tradition of supporting the annual Diplomatic Winter Bazaar on Saturday December 7. The Club sold its famous mulled wine and held a raffle/tombola offering prizes ranging from cosmetic gift sets to Sarajevo coloring books to locally produced wines. In addition, the Club supported the participation of the NGO Women’s Corner from Prozor, which sold a variety of their homemade jams, juices and cheeses.RCSID raised nearly 650 KM, which will be used to support the Vladimir Nazror School for children with special needs in Sarajevo. The school is installing a Salt Room to assist children with breathing difficulties, as this therapy will improve their quality of life and education. RCSID is pleased to continue its support to this school. In addition to the fundraising, participation at the bazaar is an example of Rotary doing good while having fun. We look forward to sharing the tradition in years to come, and to including new members in the holiday cheer!!
