Guest lecture of Nevenka Tromp

On January 19th 2022 RCSID hosted esteemed professor Nevenka Tromp with the lecture subject: "Ongoing Dissolution of Yugoslavia". Nevenka Tromp has been teaching at the Department of European Studies at the University of Amsterdam since 1992. Between 1998 and 2002, she participated in the investigation into events in Srebrenica commissioned by the Dutch government that was conducted by the Dutch Institute for War Documentation (NIOD). From 2000 to 2012, she worked as a Researcher on the Leadership Research Team in the Office of Prosecutor (OTP) at the International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia (ICTY), where she was the principal researcher on history and politics in the trial of Slobodan Milošević. She also worked on other leadership cases, most notably that of Radovan Karadžić. From 2020 to 2021 Tromp was the principal researcher for the Netherlands Compensation Commission Potočari (NCCP) dealing with the compensations for the families of the victims of the Srebrenica genocide
