D1910 Governor Visits RCSID
Our Club was delighted to welcome the District Governor Herbert Pfeiffer’s at its meeting held on September 27, 2023. The Governor focused on the global Rotary motto for 2023/24, "Creating Hope in the World" - to help the world heal from destructive conflicts and, in turn, to help us achieve lasting change for ourselves. He emphasized the value of international cooperation within Rotary's network of 65,000 clubs worldwide. Governor Pfeiffer also announced the upcoming District conference in Sarajevo in June 2024, highlighting its significance for Rotary in Bosnia and Herzegovina.He encouraged the Club to continue engaging in project activities and collaborate with other clubs, both locally and regionally. Additionally, the Governor commended the club's international aspect and underscored the importance of improving Rotary's public image, suggesting strategies like involving young people through the Youth Exchange program and other opportunities that Rotary offers.
