Philippe Kupfer
Philippe Kupfer was born in Vienna and is both Austrian and Italian citizen. He is a law graduate from the University of Vienna and gained working experience both in Austria and abroad. Philippe worked amongst others at the Federal Chancellery of Austria, Austrian Federal Ministry of the Interior, tax consulting firm Deloitte and the University of Vienna. During his studies he also volunteered/worked for multiple NGOs in Brussels, Casablanca, Jerusalem and Vienna.
Philippe joined the Trade Promotion Organization of the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber (ADVANTAGE AUSTRIA) in 2011 and was since then posted as deputy head of its offices in Milan (Italy) and Zagreb (Croatia). In April 2017 Philippe became Director of ADVANTAGE AUSTRIA Sarajevo and Commercial Counsellor of the Austrian Embassy to Bosnia-Herzegovina. From March 2018 until January 2020 he served as advisor to the Austrian Foreign Ministers in Vienna. In January 2020 he returned to the ADVANTAGE AUSTRIA Head Office in Vienna and acts as policy advisor to its CEO. He has been a member of RCSID since September 2017.
